New reader here. It was our first year without a pumpkin as we have a 20 yr old and 11 yr old. No real costumes either. Enjoying the blog. Looking forward to future posts. Blessings Diane
I am still suffering from carving fourteen pumpkins for the daycare kids...I refused to carve any after I stopped doing daycare!!! Scarred for life! Did Owen do the carving? I was always paranoid to let the kids use the sharp knife, so I did it. Most of 'em didn't want to scoop the seeds, so that fell to me too...bitter bitter Karen!
Hello Diane -- Thanks, glad you are enjoying the blog. I visited yours -- you have a lovely family!
Hey Karen! I don't blame you for swearing off pumpkins after all those years of daycare. Owen carved his own at school, but he chose to paint his at home. The one in the picture is Ben's -- he drew, and I carved. I'm paranoid too.
