Doncha just love it when seeds finally emerge into real plants??!
I'm glad everything is growing and greening up for you, I just love pulling garlic and having it hang all over and cure, it's one of my favorite parts of gardening!
What's a shallot?
It's like a sweet, mild-flavored onion. A little different taste. It grows in bulbs and cloves like garlic, however. I've only had them a couple of times, mainly because you can't buy them out here.
