Up to

What have I been up to?  A plethora of activity, including:

Rendering tallow and lard;

Baking (actually the hubby made this particular goodness);

Hauling several boxes of donated dishes to a local cooperative kitchen;

Making more garlic powder for someone who is certainly not my brother;

Celebrating two boys' birthdays (they decorated the cakes themselves);

Walking a bit;

Stripping dried seed from dill, arugula, radish and broccoli;

Making sense of my jumble of stored seeds;

and trying to enjoy the tiny bit of snow and the colder temps that arrived this week.

Just a typical January in western Minnesota.

So . . . not doin' much of anything, huh? Slow down, Lady, you're gonna wear out! (Although, I do agree that it's better to wear out than rust out! :o] )

Happy Birthday to the guys! You have been keeping pretty busy considering this is supposed to be a "down" time of year LOL!

Nice update! I like the snapshots of plethori (?). Your seed stash might seem like a jumble to you but I like it a lot.

Thanks all! Despite what it looks like, I really haven't been all that busy. At least, it doesn't seem like I've accomplished much. Not when I read about all the things you guys have done!
