Swiss chard is the energizer bunny

of the garden.  It just keeps going, and going, and going, and going....

Tomorrow I'm gonna cut and freeze what's left, since temps will dip into the mid-twenties Saturday morning. Anybody want to share a good chard recipe?  I just love this plant.

I don't have a good chard recipe but I'm hoping someone else will come up with one. :) I've been dehydrating mine these days, thinking I'll add a handful here and there to soups.

Your chard looks great and frozen or fresh would be a perfect addition to ribollita soup. We recently made this with both chard and kale...it was so good.

Hey Leigh! Let me know how the dehydrating goes, never thought of that idea.

Hello Mr. H -- Thanks for the recipe! Looks very yummy. Just in time for the winter soup season.
