Oh my gosh, lady! That's quite a harvest today, I'm with you... I think I'll be in the kitchen late tonight too! Good luck - I'm sure everything you make will be delish!
Great harvest = hard work! I hope you like your "white" pickles more than I did. I grew them a couple of years ago thinking they would be a novel idea. I pickled some quarts all white, and mixed some quarts white and green. They tasted just like regular green pickling cucs/pickles but NOBODY liked the looks of them. (How much we are used to the familiar!) Our daughter said they reminded her of something you would see in a jar in a college science lab. (I probably shouldn't have mentioned this at all, huh?)
I have to thank you for the link you posted in March to Tammy's blog. I have connected with Tammy and found a kindred spirit. She does have beautiful cows, mini goats and a great spirit. Thank you so much. I also want to thank you for a great blog. Mine is CreationsbyLSM
Erin -- If we lived closer, we could have canning parties and our boys could wrangle with each other in the back yard. But alas, no naval bases in MN!
Judy -- 3 tomatillos -- that's more than I've ever grown!
Dr. Momi -- Thank you!
Mr. H -- Ha! I'd trade my peasley weedy garden for your beautiful expanse anyday! Although, yours is likely a lot more work..
Mama Pea -- So far I am loving the white pickles. I've just done slices and relish, and nobody's made the science lab analogy. It helps that my kids are still in elementary school!
Linda Sue -- You're welcome, Tammy is a sweetheart. Good luck with your new property!
Karen -- I wish you could be helping too! We probably won't be back til later September. Just too much to do here. Still okay with us bunking with you guys??

Beautiful crops, looks like all your hard work is paying off and then some. That's a lot of cucumbers and beans...I'm jealous.:)
